Hey, guys! Welcome to my first post of 2019!
Oh God, I can’t believe it’s 2019 already. It feels like December 21st of 2017 was just yesterday.
If you had noticed, my 2018 posts were around half the amount of the posts I made the year before that, despite the fact there were more things that happened last year. It was due to lack of motivation, and only God knows what caused it.
When I passed the nurse’s board exam back in 2016, I swore to myself that by the time I reached 2 years at work,I would apply for exams so I can finally get a job outside the country. I’ve been at the same work for almost two and a half years now and I still haven’t got a clue where to start. I had to ask my parents to give me until July (when I reach 3 years) so I can finally make my final decision.
2018 had been a roller coaster for me, both physically and mentally. I’ve have a ton of sick leave for the past year, and absences without leave, too, and yet I have no idea how was able to pull through and reach another year without having a major breakdown (I’ve had small ones, but that was just shedding some tears). To be honest, as I write this, I just filed another sick leave, but not because of just any kind of sickness; I only got nauseous because I ate some leftovers from the celebration of New Year. Although, I swear I’m not going to have any absences without having a good reason.
I haven’t thought about resolutions for this year, as most of them for the past years were a fail, but I had started a bullet journal last June, so I have a basis for progress of any of my habits that I could continually improve as this year runs. I have listed down all categories that could be included, such as work and productivity, and see if I’ll level up from my current standing.
That’s all that I can think of right now. I hope you’ll all have an amazing year ahead of you and you’ll find yourself and anything else you desire.
Here’s to a fresh start!
