I have decided that putting Week [n] in the title is already putting me off and putting me under pressure to write something in a week. (Note: I was supposed to post this November last year but I forgot about it so here I am, because I have nothing else to write.)
But didn’t you just enter the writing challenge to express yourself?
Yeah, yeah, I know that. But I just learned that I cannot completely control when I want to express myself. Sometimes I want to, sometimes I don’t. So starting from now, I would be posting stuff here whenever I feel like it, but I won’t be overly ignoring it like I did previously.
ANYWAY. “How To Really Know Someone”. You probably might have read it somewhere from another blog. This is somehow like the thing in Facebook ages ago where someone tags you in a post that is made up of a bunch of questions that you should answer. The difference is: you don’t need to be tagged for you to answer. It’s your choice if you want to join in or not in your free will.
I will be doing it by tens.
Here’s a link to it if you want to join in, too.
1.) How do you feel about birthdays?
Energizing. It gives you the sense of accomplishment that you had reached this point in life where in you would either a.) ask yourself how you were able to survive those years or b.) celebrate that you had survived. Also, treats, man. If a friend is celebrating their birthday, there would be 75% chance that they’re going to take you out for a treat. Not 100% though, but there’s still a huge possibility
2 .)Do you believe in fate?
Yes. Some things are meant to be, some things are not. Everything happens for a reason.
3.) What do you think when a band/artist “sells out”?
That people are switching to newer, “cooler” music that is more “now”. I’m putting quotations in because I don’t find music nowadays as good as the previous ones but hey, this is my opinion. I prefer the underground and old indie ones, you enjoy the techno mainstream.
4.) What do you think of fans and fandoms?
I think it’s great that people are united through a mutual interest and that they are constantly excited about it, although some fandoms tend to be overboard; they would
5.) Any specific personality traits you would like to see in your life partner?
I just want them to be patient, considerate and kind. That’s all I just want to see.
6.) Should parents be their child’s friends?
Why not? Just not up to the point that the parents would spoil their kids just to be considered their friend.
7.) What do you think of doctor-assisted suicide?
Although it’s not an easy thing for me as I’m pro-life, if the person themselves were the ones who decided and nothing would ever change their mind, it’s fine. I’m not going to delve deeper than that but if you want to have a discussion, please leave me a message.
8.) Have you ever blown your top? Why?
Only when my sisters get into my nerves, like when it’s been 3 days worth of telling them to get their newly washed clothes and put it in their drawers but they still haven’t although they had nothing else to do but surf the internet. But I have never publicly went off. I am more of a passive-aggressive person when I’m outside.
9.) How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
I think mid-20s.
10.) You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
If I were this person I was during college, I would just shut up and when I would see that friend, I’d tell her everything they said about her. It’s still probable that I’ll do that these times but I’m more likely to ask those people why they say such things about her because I’ll be curious as to what had she done to trigger them.
I’ll post more of these late on because I’m afraid if I included everything on one sitting, I’ll bore all of you to death.
See you!
