The only thing that would keep her truly happy are books.
The stories, the characters, the flow of words. And of course, who would not like the delightful smell once uncovered?
Her parents had tried preventing her from buying anymore because there would be no space left in their house where she could keep it, but it hadn’t stopped her from getting more.
And although her parents were mildly irritated at how much she had spent, inside they felt warm and content every time they see the look of enthusiasm on their young daughter’s face as her eyes scanned the words with pleasure.
And none of them couldn’t be any happier about it.
